Hi, it’s Consuelo again, the illustrator and designer behind all the products of the Be Marsupial brand. After years of running my graphic design studio in the Canary Islands, Spain, I moved to Australia in search of a change—something that would give me more creative freedom, away from the usual client demands. Once settled here, I found myself looking for gifts to bring back to family and friends in Spain. That’s when I noticed a gap in the market for high-quality souvenirs. Inspired by Australia’s unique beauty, I saw an opportunity to create something special. And that’s how, 7 years ago, Be Marsupial was born. Since then, I’ve designed over 600 original pieces, likely making the Be Marsupial collection the largest Aussie-themed one out there.

Here are my pups, Anchovy and Bru, who join me on daily adventures through the landscapes that fuel my creativity and joy. If you look closely, you might spot them in some of my designs.
